I used to think listening was just a skill I could master. Now I know – listening is obedience. The Bible talks about listening as an act of following God. It’s not passive. It’s active. Hearing vs Listening Hearing is the sound waves bouncing off your ears. Listening is responding. Listening is saying, “I hear…
Leadership Isn’t Always About the Right Words… Listening In Can Change Everything Leadership isn’t always about having the right answers. It isn’t about strong opinions, clever insights, or the ability to command a room with your words. Sometimes, leadership is about creating sacred space. Space to pause. To pay attention. To tune in. As a…
Leadership is often described as making quick decisions, standing strong, and inspiring others. But what if the most powerful leadership move isn’t speaking – it’s listening? Listening In is what I call tuning into the voice of the Holy Spirit. It’s a leadership practice that has changed everything for me. How Listening In Works Before any…
One of the most powerful moments in my coaching career was when a client said, “I’ve never said that out loud before.” She sat there stunned – and so did I. Not because it was a shocking confession. But because speaking it – finally – brought healing. Listening Creates Sacred Spaces When we listen well,…
How True Leadership Starts with Listening When I first started leading, I thought leadership meant making decisions and inspiring people. And yes, those are part of it. But over the years, I learned something far more powerful: true leadership begins with listening. Listening is more than hearing words. It’s creating space where someone feels safe,…
We hear the client with our ears, a passive activity, but we listen to them and formulate our responses, our powerful questions, and calls to actions that we hear from them and the Holy Spirit.

Welcome to my blog!
I have begun this blog to have a place to share some of the things God has shown me throughout my life. This is a small space for reflection and awareness that this isn’t all there is, and that our lives are not just random happenstance. There is purpose, and reasons, if we pause long enough to look, rest and reflect. I hope that as I continue to share with you in this blog that you will begin to see the Grand Design in your own life more clearly.
